Special Issue Information
Dear Colleagues,
You are welcome to contribute your article at new relative MDPI issue.
Relative abstract is attached.
Sustainable consumption and production (SCP) is a crucial concept that aims to minimize waste and environmental impacts while promoting economic growth and social equity. It is pivotal for achieving the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly Goal 12, which emphasizes responsible consumption and production patterns. By adopting SCP principles, societies can transition towards a circular economy that emphasizes resource efficiency, waste reduction, and sustainable practices. Relative articles are focused on reviews and/or innovative proposals for The Key Principles of Sustainable Consumption and Production that include efficient use of resources ensures that materials, water, green qualitative tourism, sustainable green designs, safe mobility and energy are used in a way that reduces waste and environmental degradation. Moreover, useful results are presented for stakeholders encouraging innovations and practices that optimize the life cycle of products, from design to disposal, contributes to resource efficiency. In this way is supported the circular economy, that is an alternative economic model that contrasts with the traditional linear economy (take, make, dispose). It emphasizes reusing, recycling, and refurbishing materials, thereby extending product life cycles and promoting sustainability. The results from investigated case studies are promoting sustainable choices among stakeholders, consumers that can have a significant impact. This involves not only individual behaviors but also promoting values that prioritize sustainability.
Furthermore evaluating the environmental impact through the entire life cycle of products helps identify areas for improvement and fosters more sustainable practices in design, production, and disposal. This holistic approach encourages collaboration among stakeholders to minimize overall environmental footprints. Several useful Pathways to Achieve Sustainable Consumption and Production are presented in several articles of this issue including Policy & Regulation; Technology and Innovation, and creations of collaborations and partnerships for the right Consumer Engagement and Training supporting sustainable business models. By promoting resource efficiency and embracing a circular economy, we can significantly reduce our ecological footprint while fostering innovation and economic growth. Collaborative efforts across sectors, supported by effective policies and consumer engagement, will be critical in navigating the challenges and maximizing the opportunities that lie ahead in this transition towards sustainability. Useful results from this issue are coming up for researchers and stakeholders.

Manuscript Submission Information
Manuscripts should be submitted online at www.mdpi.com by registering and logging in to this website. Once you are registered, click here to go to the submission form. Manuscripts can be submitted until the deadline. All submissions that pass pre-check are peer-reviewed. Accepted papers will be published continuously in the journal (as soon as accepted) and will be listed together on the special issue website. Research articles, review articles as well as short communications are invited. For planned papers, a title and short abstract (about 100 words) can be sent to the Editorial Office for announcement on this website.
Submitted manuscripts should not have been published previously, nor be under consideration for publication elsewhere (except conference proceedings papers). All manuscripts are thoroughly refereed through a single-blind peer-review process. A guide for authors and other relevant information for submission of manuscripts is available on the Instructions for Authors page. Sustainability is an international peer-reviewed open access semimonthly journal published by MDPI.
Please visit the Instructions for Authors page before submitting a manuscript. The Article Processing Charge (APC) for publication in this open access journal is 2400 CHF (Swiss Francs). Submitted papers should be well formatted and use good English. Authors may use MDPI's English editing service prior to publication or during author revisions.
