Special Issue Information
Dear Colleagues,
Establishing and consolidating circularity within the current economic landscape is crucial for Sustainable Development. The latest technological trends, including the proliferation of AI technology in the context of a data-intensive society, intrinsically suggest a socio-technical approach to designing realistic and functional strategies for Circular Economic (CE) and Renewable Energy Systems (RE). While tech-driven and social innovation may both be considered stand-alone determinants for effective implementation, cutting-edge solutions may be based on strengthened synergy involving both determinants.
This Special Issue welcomes original research articles and reviews of this broad topic. Research areas may include (but are not limited to) the following:
- Modeling (including, but not limited to, using AI/ ML)/responsible modeling and analysis of CE/RE Systems.
- The evaluation of Circular Economic/Renewable Energy Principles and Applications.
- Open Data for CE/RE.
- Systems Approach to CE/RE.
- Ontological Frameworks for CE/RE.
- Social, Technical, Economic, and Environmental aspects of CE/RE.
We look forward to receiving your contributions.
