Dear referee,

thank you very much for the thorough reading and the improvements. I agree with all suggestions and have implemented these as they were listed.  The reference to Shen, Xu and Jing has been added (I was not aware of this work) and a short description of what they do has also been added after the citation on page 4. The references to arXiv preprints all appear to be as up-to-date as possible.

The author extended the extreme value law in regular continued fraction to the Hurwitz complex CF. The presentation is clear and complete. I would suggest this paper be published by Entropy.
