Concrete represents one of the most popular materials employed in the civil engineering sector due to its flexibility and adaptability to multiple applications, ranging from non-structural elements and partition walls to structural elements and load-bearing members. However, various applications require specific characteristics of concrete and motivate the development of new mix designs, additives, advanced materials and construction practices, which widen the scope of research on concrete engineering in general [...]
