Permeability and Strength of Pervious Concrete According to Aggregate Size and Blocking Material
Round 1
Reviewer 1 Report
The research theme has a great importance in the field of civil engineering. The background to the problem is covered and the paper is well structured giving a clear explanation of the work carried out. This case study supply deep insight into the construction system and its problems, so it might be of utility for future developments.

Lines 67 - 80 - turn text into sketch
Lines 67 - 80 - the introduction is no the place for this text, please, consider moving to the other paragraph
Figure 1 and 2 give irrelevant information, it is enough to describe it shortly in the text. Only the picture of final specimens are of interest of the readers
in the text the mechanical properties are tested and treated as one of most important in the presented research, but in the title and abstract it is not mentioned
Except for the compressive strength, the age of concrete a the time of test is not given for other properties, also the way of curing the specimens is missed. - please specify

We appreciate for your detailed comments. We believe that they will improve the quality of this paper. About your comments, we checked the manuscript and revised as follows;
Lines 67 - 80 - the introduction is no the place for this text, please, consider moving to the other paragraph
[Res] The sentences between lines 67 – 80 are removed because they are explained again next part.
Figure 1 and 2 give irrelevant information, it is enough to describe it shortly in the text. Only the picture of final specimens are of interest of the readers
[Res] According to the reviewer's opinion, Figure 1 has been removed. However, we did not remove Figure 2 as it would be appropriate to show the specimen manufacturing process together.
in the text the mechanical properties are tested and treated as one of most important in the presented research, but in the title and abstract it is not mentioned
[Res] As pointed out by the reviewer, the part related to the strength evaluation is omitted in the title. Accordingly, we revised the title as follows.
Title: Permeability and Strength of Pervious Concrete According to Aggregate Size and Blocking Material
Except for the compressive strength, the age of concrete at the time of test is not given for other properties, also the way of curing the specimens is missed. - please specify
[Res] We added more information on the way of curing the specimens from Lines 80-84. Moreover, the ages of concrete at the time of testing were also supplied as follow: at the age of 21 days for measuring the void content by using ASTM method (Line 89) and CT scan (Line 103&109); at 28 days for water infiltration test (Line 118); and at 56 days for blocking test (Line 138).
