Round 1

Reviewer 1 Report

The authors investigated a novel approach for biological desalination of  major anion in the seawater using three microalgal species based on kinetic modeling.

  1. The title should be revised for clarity. For instance "Kinetic studies modeling" should be written as "kinetic modeling"
  2. There is inappropriate use of punctuation marks in the abstract. For instance, in line 5, there should not be a comma (,) after water re-use.
  3. The authors needs to improve on the introduction. There are several language and syntax errors that makes it difficult to comprehend.
  4. The novelty of the study should be stressed in the introduction.
  5. The discussion should be critically discussed with reference to literature.
  6. The whole manuscript  should be thoroughly revised for language error.
