Reviewer 2 Report
The authors have submitted a narrative review on the crosstalk of immunology & MDS. The paper is well-written and suitable for publication in Diagnostics following minor revisions.
Some suggestions for improvement are listed below:
1. The paper requires a minor polishing of the English language. Please use at least the free version of Grammarly to correct these errors, e.g., "can occurred" instead of "can occur" and others.
2. The readability of the paper can be improved by designing more Figures and 1-2 Tables to summarize the key information reported in the paper. It is a little bit dull as there is a lot of text and the reader can easily get bored and overlook this relevant publication.
3. The authors can take into account briefly discussing the crosstalk of low-grade chronic inflammation and oxidative stress and its involvement in the immunological aberrations present in MDS.
4. Maybe using liquid biopsy-based techniques could help detect autoimmune disturbances in MDS. Check how this technique has been used in myeloproliferative neoplasms and other blood cancers and see whether it can also be translated to MDS.
