Round 1

Reviewer 1 Report

It seems that several statements are just direct translation to English and authors should re-write these parts to improve the manuscript. Some examples are here. But can be found elsewhere in the manuscript.

Abstract:

Please revise this statement: "This research develops a new screening model for interdependent screening parameters, a simultaneous screening model."

Comprehensive is not a good word to describe the limited data used here, please revise: "Quantitative and realistic data are comprehensively collected from CO2-EOR fields around the world"

Introduction:

Please revise this part: "This issue has made CO2-EOR the primary EOR method in the US ". This is not an "issue".

Pages 91-92: I don't understand this: "The collected database from world field references to obtain a realistic screening model."

Background of terms such as "boundary ellipse and Hotelling" needs explanation and why they are useful?

Reviewer 2 Report

As the paper mentioned the MMP is strongly influenced by injected gas and oil composition at the moment of EOR implemented.

The evaluated parameters are general data collected from oil fields, and literature, I suggest the author to expand the study focusing on more fundamental rock-fluid properties that impact CO2 EOR, such as oil composition, field production history-up to date GOR, which usually are overlooked when doing EOR screening. Thank you

Reviewer 3 Report

Rosiani et al. provided an interesting study regarding interdependent parameter analysis regarding CO2 EOR. Different scenarios, including immiscible and miscible, are included. The study is relatively comprehensive, and the results are meaningful. Minor revision is suggested as this stage. Detailed comments are listed below.

  1. Kindly include more quantitative results in the abstract part.
  2. It is suggested to include more introduction regarding CO2 EOR and the associated storage in shale formation. The article below is suggested as a starting point for the authors. Investigations of CO2 storage capacity and flow behavior in shale formation. Journal of Petroleum Science and Engineering. 2022.
  3. In general, it is suggested to add more discussions regarding the relationship between the data models with physical parameters, i.e., not only from the standpoint of view of data, but the physical meaning should be elaborated as well.
  4. Line 302, applying the Al Adasani, Zhang, and Taber screening methods. It is suggested to only cite the article.
