I could go through the article easily & found the same perfectly OK. In fact a very meaningful contribution to the field of superconducting materials. My only concern is that above 25% of citations are self. Although the author's group is very active and one among the leaders in the field, yet I feel too much os self-citation is not fair. Authors may think about it.   Rest is Fine.. The MS can be published as is.

The paper of Bhattacharyya et al. investigates the superconducting properties LaOs4As12 compound in terms of measurement of heat capacitance and usage of μSR technic. These approaches permit authors to estimate critical temperature, gap, screening depth and the other parameters, which may be valuable for revealing the order-parameter symmetry.

The article is well-written and has significant scientific value. It may be published in Magnetochemistry after some minor changes.

1)      In expression (3) is not clear what is the difference between s and s+s model in this calculation.

2)  In Figure 3 C_{es} parameter is noted, while in text it is not mentioned (Probable it is just C_e).

3)      According statement in 3.3: The absence of spontaneous surface currents is not sufficient reason to exclude probability of the p-wave symmetry of superconducting order. The spontaneous current may appear in chiral px+ipy superconductors but not in the px-wave. So the discussion about breaking of TRS should be extended and clarify which types of order may be excluded due to this fact.

The authors have written a manuscript entitled "Superconducting gap and electronic structure of filled skutterudite LaOs4As12 compound". The manuscript shows good results and analysis. However, it can be considered for acceptance after considering the following points:

1. Can the authors show any measurement to confirm the crystal structure of the single crystal LaOs4As12, such XRD, neutron diffraction, etc?

2.  Is there any measurement that confirms the elemental content of the single crystal such EDX or EDS?
