- Homosexual behaviors.
- Autoerotic behaviors: masturbation.
- Population exclusively or primarily referring to specific ethnic groups.

- Studies with national or regional samples.
- Studies that showed data on heterosexual behaviors relevant to this study, even if the primary focus was on other aspects, such as risky behaviors or the effect of sexual education, among others.
