Recent breakthroughs have illuminated RNA's pivotal role as a versatile tool in combating a spectrum of challenging neurological disorders. Exciting discoveries in RNA-based biomarkers and novel mechanisms of action have illuminated new paths for therapeutic intervention, heralding a new era of precision medicine. To propel the rapid expansion of the field, there is an urgent need to enhance the efficacy of RNA-based therapeutics and devise innovative modes of delivery. Novel strategies that enable the precise targeting of specific cell types within the complex neural environment are paramount, aiming to maximize therapeutic efficacy while minimizing off-target effects. A comprehensive understanding of the complex interplay within diverse RNA classes in organisms' development and disease is still in its infancy.

Discovery of the vast potential of RNA therapeutics, including antisense oligonucleotides (ASOs), small interfering RNA (siRNA), messenger RNA (mRNA) therapeutics, RNA editing technologies, and non-coding RNAs, in the clinical setting as well as with animal models is anticipated.
