Special Issue Information
Dear Colleagues,
Multimedia such as images, video, and 3D objects have enriched our daily lives in all aspects, including education, security, and entertainment, to name a few. In fact, with the availability of smart devices and sensors at affordable prices, multimedia content is being generated at a staggering rate.
The traditional threats of adversary parties gaining access to content of some value (financial, national security, political) continue to motivate innovations and developments in content encryption. In addition, ordinary users are also concerned with the privacy of their content, particularly when storing personal content such as images and videos in the cloud. Therefore, it is crucial to provide secure multimedia encryption techniques to serve the increasing need of users.
This Special Issue on multimedia encryption aims to solicit high-quality research articles addressing the challenges and issues in multimedia encryption.
