Preventive dentistry is dental care that helps to maintain good oral health. It emphasizes the importance of ongoing hygiene procedures and daily practices to prevent dental diseases and conditions. Preventing future dental diseases and complications from existing dental conditions is crucial to oral health sustainability, which is an integral part of general health. The Section “Preventive Dentistry” of the Dentistry Journal aims to publish the scientific studies of the highest quality in the field of preventive dentistry.
