Special Issue Information
Dear Colleagues,
Endometrial cancer is the most common gynecological neoplasm in countries with a high standard of living, and its incidence is increasing due to way of life (sedentary) and nutrition (high-calorie diet). Surgical therapy is very important, especially in the early stages, and represents the bulk of the cure. Among gynecological tumors it is the one that has had a molecular classification that has led to prognostic correlations. The new guidelines of the European Society of Gynecology have implemented the molecular classification with the already existing ones. Many groups are investing in this new way of seeing endometrial cancer which has become a very heterogeneous disease that suggests a very personalized therapy. In this collection, we want to study endometrial cancers related to obesity, and the correlation between the new classification and the existing one in order to put together new diagnostic models.
