About Earth
Aims
Earth (ISSN 2673-4834) provides an advanced forum for multidisciplinary research on the interactions/connections among global environmental systems. It publishes reviews, regular research papers, and short communications, as well as Special Issues on particular subjects.
The aim of Earth is to encourage scientists to publish their experimental and theoretical results in as much detail as possible. Therefore, the journal has no restriction on the maximum length of the papers. Full experimental details should be provided so that the results can be reproduced.
In addition, the journal has the following features: Manuscripts regarding new and innovative research proposals and ideas are particularly welcome; electronic files or software regarding the full details of the calculation and experimental procedure as well as source codes can be submitted as supplementary material.
Scope
The journal encourages significant contributions to our understanding of global environmental changes. We are open to submissions on all relevant topics and are particularly interested in the following areas of research:
- Air quality/pollution and atmospheric changes
- Environmental impacts of climate change dynamics
- Water quality/pollution and water resource management
- Interaction between land use/cover, agriculture, forestry and the environment
- Soil system/management and global environment
- Environmental system and global change ecology and biodiversity
- Resources management and conservation
- Natural and human-made disasters/risks on the environment
- Environmental research on food security/changes
- Innovation of techniques on environmental research
- Environmental health
- Urban development/sustainability
- Human health, well-being and related statistics among global environmental systems
