2012 The inaugural issue was released. Humanities was published as a quarterly journal. 
2016 Humanities was indexed in ERIH Plus.
2018 APC funded by institutions through Knowledge Unlatched.
Humanities announced the first edition of the Travel Award—"2019 Humanities Travel Award".
2019 Humanities announced the first edition of the Outstanding Reviewer Award—"2019 Humanities Outstanding Reviewer Award".
2020 Humanities established the following sections:
-History in the Humanities;
-Literature in the Humanities;
-Philosophy and Classics in the Humanities;
-Film, Television, and Media Studies in the Humanities;
-Cultural Studies & Critical Theory in the Humanities;
-Anthropology in the Humanities;
-Archaeology in the Humanities;
-Transdisciplinary Humanities.
2021 Humanities was indexed in Emerging Sources Citation Index (ESCI)—Web of Science (Clarivate Analytics), starting with Volume 8 (Issue 1).
2022 The year 2022 marked the 10th Anniversary of Humanities.
Humanities was indexed in Scopus—Elsevier, starting with Volume 8 (Issue 1).
Humanities adopted a bimonthly publication schedule.
2023 Humanities received its first Impact Factor (0.3).
Humanities received its first CiteScore (2022) of 0.7.
