Special Issue Information
Dear Colleagues,
We are calling for submissions to the forthcoming Special Issue entitled Innovative Technology for Human Well-Being and the Future of Education in the International Journal of Environmental Research and Public Health (Impact Factor: 4.614 in 2021).
As a consequence of the COVID-19 pandemic, diverse technological solutions have been adopted to continue teaching and learning. Technology has played a key role as an instrumental tool, because it has allowed the deployment of different online solutions. This Special Issue will welcome contributions in the context of education on human well-being derived from the adoption of technology (such as smart classroom deployments, hybrid virtual class formats, learning management systems, etc.) and its impact on the health of both, students and instructors. Hence, this Special Issue is focused on research in which the participants’ well-being (students and instructors) is studied, derived from: the adoption of resilient teaching formats based on technology to cope with emergencies—such as the COVID-19 pandemic; the exploitation of technology to leverage education outcomes through diverse tools and techniques, such as artificial intelligence, virtual reality, augmented reality or interactive online tools. In addition, contributions that analyze legal concerns and challenges and opportunities relating to the topic are also welcome.
