Special Issue Information
Dear Colleagues,
We are coordinating a Special Issue on the role of emotions and social dynamics within interpersonal settings and their impact on psychological well-being in the International Journal of Environmental Research and Public Health (IJERPH). For further specific information on the journal (e.g., aims and scope, author guidelines, etc.), please see https://www.mdpi.com/journal/ijerph.
Emotions represent one of the defining characteristics of human beings and have a pervasive presence in our lives, playing crucial roles in shaping the social and cultural contexts in which we live and with which we interact, our cognitive patterns, our interpersonal relationships, and the relevant psychosocial outcomes. The current Special Issue is devoted to the examination of how distinctive emotional experiences, their expression or regulation, and their interaction with social or cultural aspects determine different psychosocial variables (with a particular focus on well-being-related indicators) across a wide array of social settings, such as organizations or close relationships. Empirical investigations on the antecedents of emotional experience are also of interest to this Special Issue.
Within this Special Issue, we welcome unpublished and high-quality empirical and review (e.g., systematic reviews) papers that can help advance our understanding of the presence and significance of interpersonal dynamics between emotional phenomena in various social settings.
