Lithuanian University of Health Sciences (LUHS)
The Lithuanian University of Health Sciences is the largest institution of higher education for biomedical sciences in Lithuania with almost 100 years of academic experience and great potential for development. Altogether, the academic community includes over 25'000 members, including more than 7'300 Lithuanian students and nearly 800 international students. Clinical teaching and research are mainly based on cooperation with the largest health care institution in the Baltic States – the Hospital of the Lithuanian University of Health Sciences Kauno Klinikos. Every student is given the opportunity to widen and deepen knowledge in a number of disciplines, to improve skills within a modern and innovative environment and to become a highly qualified specialist in a fast-changing world of practising health sciences.

Lithuanian Medical Association
The Lithuanian Medical Association is a voluntary, self-governed and independent organization bringing together around 80% of Lithuanian doctors and representing their interests. The main goals and objectives of Lithuanian Medical Association are to represent professional interests and rights of Lithuanian Medical Association members in their relations with employers, legal and natural persons; to conclude collective agreements and arrangements as well as to control their implementation. The main activities include the protection of social interests of Lithuanian Medical Association members; postgraduate and continuing medical education; Lithuanian Medical Association members' civil responsibility insurance; cooperation with other medical organizations and solving the problems of professional ethics.
Rīga Stradiņš University
Reputation leader – Rīga Stradiņš University has been recognised as the best university with the highest reputation in Latvia, gaining the highest rating among the 10 largest universities in Latvia according to a study of the reputation of Latvian universities conducted by market research company Kantar TNS.
Export champion – for the 11th year in a row, the Investment and Development Agency of Latvia together with the Ministry of Economics, announced the Export and Innovation Award and Rīga Stradiņš University was awarded the title of Export Champion. The mission of Rīga Stradiņš University is to prepare highly qualified research staff, support outstanding science and effective transfer of technology to promote innovation and increase the global competitiveness of Rīga Stradiņš University.
University of Latvia
The University of Latvia has been founded in 1919 and is currently, with its more than 14'000 students, 13 faculties and over 20 research institutes and independent study centres, one of the largest comprehensive and leading research universities in the Baltics. The University offers more than 130 state accredited academic and professional study programmes.
At University of Latvia, research is conducted in over 50 research fields which represent four main areas of inquiry: the humanities, natural sciences, social sciences. The University of Latvia pays great attention to the development of international collaboration.
The University of Latvia devotes great attention to development of international collaboration to promote its identity internationally and to strengthen the reputation of the University worldwide. To date, the University of Latvia has signed 136 bilateral agreements worldwide and more than 700 agreements with 368 institutions in 32 European countries within the ERASMUS+ programme.
University of Tartu
The University of Tartu is Estonia’s leading centre of research and training. It preserves the culture of the Estonian people and spearheads the country’s reputation in research and provision of higher education. The University of Tartu belongs to the top 1.2% of world’s best universities.
As Estonia’s national university, the University of Tartu stresses the importance of international co-operation and partnerships with reputable research universities all over the world. The robust research potential of the university is evidenced by the fact that the University of Tartu has been invited to join the Coimbra Group, a prestigious club of renowned research universities.
The University of Tartu includes 4 faculties providing higher education to 13,000 students (including over 1000 international students from 70 countries). To support and develop the professional competence of its students and academic staff, the university has entered into bilateral co-operation agreements with 79 partner institutions in 31 countries.
Vilnius University
Vilnius University is the oldest and largest Lithuanian higher education institution. Since its establishment in the 16th century, Vilnius University, as integral part of European science and culture has embodied the concept of a classical university and the unity of studies and research.
Vilnius University is an active participant in international scientific and academic activities and boasts many prominent scientists, professors and graduates. Scientific development and the expanding relations with global research centres have contributed to the variety of research and studies at Vilnius University.

The student body of the University includes 21,000 students.
