Dear Colleagues,
We are thrilled to invite you to participate in our upcoming Special Issue of Processes. Metal nanoparticles (MNPs) possess unique physicochemical properties that make them highly desirable in various applications, ranging from catalysis to biomedicine. However, conventional synthesis routes often involve the use of hazardous chemicals and energy-intensive processes, raising concerns about environmental sustainability. This Special Issue addresses these challenges by focusing on green synthesis methods, which leverage eco-friendly approaches and sustainable resources.
The synthesis of MNPs using green and sustainable approaches has emerged as a pivotal area of research amid the global call for eco-friendly technologies. We are keenly interested in receiving contributions that delve into innovative and green synthesis techniques, showcasing natural sources and eco-friendly methodologies. This includes, but is not limited to, studies on plant extracts, agro-industrial waste, microbial systems and other sustainable resources for producing MNPs. The Special Issue aims to be a platform for researchers to share insights into the environmental impact, scalability and efficiency of green synthesis methods.
Furthermore, we invite submissions that explore the catalytic applications of MNPs across various disciplines. MNPs have demonstrated exceptional catalytic properties, influencing advancements in energy storage, environmental remediation and biomedical applications. We encourage contributions that shed light on the catalytic mechanisms, performance and potential industrial applications of MNPs.
We invite original research articles, reviews and perspectives contributing to understanding green synthesis methods for MNPs and their catalytic applications.

Manuscripts should be submitted online at www.mdpi.com by registering and logging in to this website. Once you are registered, click here to go to the submission form. Manuscripts can be submitted until the deadline. All submissions that pass pre-check are peer-reviewed. Accepted papers will be published continuously in the journal (as soon as accepted) and will be listed together on the special issue website. Research articles, review articles as well as short communications are invited. For planned papers, a title and short abstract (about 100 words) can be sent to the Editorial Office for announcement on this website.
Submitted manuscripts should not have been published previously, nor be under consideration for publication elsewhere (except conference proceedings papers). All manuscripts are thoroughly refereed through a single-blind peer-review process. Processes is an international peer-reviewed open access monthly journal published by MDPI.
