Join Us at “MDPI Open Access—Online Author Training Program with Universidad Miguel Hernández (UMH)”, 13 January 2025


MDPI is pleased to be collaborating with Universidad Miguel Hernández, Spain, to host an author training session that provides essential insights into MDPI and the world of Open Access publishing. Academic Editors from MDPI will lead the session, focusing on the theme of peer review in academic publishing. Peer review is a fundamental process that not only enhances the quality of individual research works, but also bolsters the integrity of the wider academic community.

Biography:


Mrs. Neda Nikolic

 

Having graduated from the Faculty of Biology, University of Belgrade, with a M.Sc. degree in ecology (majoring in environmental protection), Mrs. Neda Nikolic is also a Ph.D. candidate at the Faculty of Biology at the University of Belgrade, working on her thesis, “Bryophyte Potentials in Sustainable and Eco-Friendly Agronomy”. She joined MDPI in January 2020 as an Assistant Editor, and later on as a Special Issue Editor and Section Manager for the journal Sustainability. Neda has also worked as a Publishing Manager of three journals: Sustainability, Sustainable Chemistry, and Muscles. She has thus gained extensive experience in the editorial field. Currently, she holds the position of Journal Relations Specialist for Sustainability and Sustainable Chemistry (JRS certification).


Dr. Vesna
Marinković

Dr. Vesna Marinković completed her bachelor’s and master’s degrees in biochemistry at the University of Novi Sad, Serbia, completing her Ph.D. in chemical engineering there as well in 2020. She joined MDPI in May 2020, working as an Assistant Editor and Section Managing Editor for Sensors. In 2022, she was appointed Chief Section Managing Editor for the Section “Sensor Materials” of the same journal. She also works as a Journal Relations Specialist for Sensors, Automation, and Actuators.
