Special Issue Information

Dear Colleagues,

Energy demand is continuously increasing in order to maintain our smart technology-based daily life. The demand of energy in industries is also increasing as a result of the smart production system. The energy supply should be properly maintained for industries and for our daily life. To do so, it is necessary to take care of the source of energy, supply of raw material, production power plants, logistics, and other factors. These can all be maintained properly through energy supply chain management. Smart production systems and autonomation policies can be used in the production system. Different strategies can be used depending on the power of the supply chain players. Pricing strategy, discount policy, or reward policy are useful business strategies for different energy distributor companies. Supply chain players should take care of the environment and social matters along with their profit. By maintaining the three pillars of sustainability, the energy supply chain can convert to a sustainable energy supply chain.
