Strain Rate and Temperature Effects on Formability and Microstructure of AZ31B Magnesium Alloy Sheet
Round 1
Reviewer 1 Report
The article is devoted to an actual topic, namely, the study of the effect of temperature and strain rate on the deformability and microstructure of the magnesium alloy AZ31B. The article has good graphics. The paper is very well structured. Research is carried out on modern scientific equipment. The obtained results of the study are considered in detail, the scientific substantiation of the obtained values is given.
However, I have a remark, the consideration of which by the authors would improve the article:
The introduction is very short, more information on previous research on this topic could have been given. A much larger number of articles and researches dealt with similar issues.
Author Response
Dear reviewer:
Thank you very much for your comments and suggestions. We have studied your comments carefully and revise the manuscript according to your opinions.
According to your comments, some articles relate to this topic were cited in introduction. The introduction enriches the research on the effect of strain rate and temperature on the formability of AZ31B.
Thank you for your time.
With best regards,
Yours sincerely,

This is a small correction. For example, Figure 4, the vertical axis caption requires a space between the true stress and (MPa).
I have one question on dislocation movement. In page.5, you describe "the dislocation movement was improved.... in the deformation process". Do you have evidence? I could not find any reasons in your document.
Author Response
Dear reviewer,
Thank you very much for your comments and suggestions. We have studied your comments carefully and revise the manuscript according to your opinions.
- We corrected the vertical axis caption in Figure 4 and Figure 5.
2. Two papers were cited to support the deduction of dislocation movement affected by temperature.
