Special Issue Information
Dear Colleagues,
The European Journal of Investigation in Health, Psychology, and Education is producing a Special Issue devoted solely to research in the medical education field. This Special Issue aims to encompass the most innovative educational techniques, such as high-fidelity medical simulations and virtual reality. One of the journal's first articles will explore the educational impact of simulation-based education on patient safety. This Special Issue also plans to publish an article highlighting the association between the instructor's emotional intelligence and the quality of the debriefing they provide to students. Finally, a third assignment that will be submitted specifically for this Special Issue is a research article that examines the type of debriefing that should be performed by the instructor depending on the level of expertise of the learner. Honored and excited to be the Guest Editor of this issue, I also encourage the submission of all research reports that highlight students' and teachers' psychological dimensions, feedback, and debriefing.
