Dear Colleagues,
Participants in this conference are invited to contribute a full manuscript to our Special Issue, entitled "Selected Papers: Symmetry 2025—The Fifth Edition of the International Conference on Symmetry", of the journal Symmetry.
All accepted contributions will enjoy a 20% discount on the publication fees. This Special Issue will represent all disciplines relevant to the conference, where the notion of symmetry plays an important role. Special attention will be paid to interdisciplinary contributions.
We are thrilled to announce the establishment of three prestigious awards (Best Oral Presentation Award, Best Poster Award and Best Speaker Award), recognizing and celebrating the outstanding contributions made by our participants during Symmetry 2025. Among those, 6 winners will receive a full waiver of the Article Processing Charge to publish one article in Symmetry, and 12 winners will receive a 50% waiver. Authors can choose submit their papers to the Special Issues or a specific section.
This Special Issue will be closely aligned with the themes of the conference.
Symmetry is indexed within Scopus, SCIE (Web of Science), CAPlus/SciFinder, Inspec, Astrophysics Data System, and other databases and has an Impact Factor of 2.2 and a 5-Year Impact Factor of 2.3.

Manuscript Submission Information
Manuscripts should be submitted online at www.mdpi.com by registering and logging in to this website. Once you are registered, click here to go to the submission form. Manuscripts can be submitted until the deadline. All submissions that pass pre-check are peer-reviewed. Accepted papers will be published continuously in the journal (as soon as accepted) and will be listed together on the special issue website. Research articles, review articles as well as short communications are invited. For planned papers, a title and short abstract (about 100 words) can be sent to the Editorial Office for announcement on this website.
Submitted manuscripts should not have been published previously, nor be under consideration for publication elsewhere (except conference proceedings papers). All manuscripts are thoroughly refereed through a single-blind peer-review process. Symmetry is an international peer-reviewed open access monthly journal published by MDPI.
