The submitted paper deals with a field test for mechanical properties of SMW piles of building structures in sandy soil areas. The factors that influencing the mechanical behaviours of H-shaped steel in SMW piles are investigated. The main topic raised by this article is interesting and worth of investigation. The reviewer believes that this paper is meaningful and would suggest accept the paper for publication if the following comments are addressed.
1- Please authors highlight the original research work.
2- The cited references are too old. It is highly recommended that authors cover the most current research in the field.
3- In Page 1, Abstract, Line 7: “… were set in H-shaped steel …” should be “… were set on H-shaped steel …”. Line 8: “… the depth of the pit were obtained …” should be “… the depth of the pit was obtained …”.
4- In Page 3, Paragraph 3, “… in sandy soil area” should be “… in sandy soil areas”.
5- In Page 7, Paragraph 3, “… this part of SMW pile” should be “… this part of the SMW pile”.
6- In Page 15, Paragraph 4, “… the second layer of support” should be “… the second layer of supports”.
7- In Page 17, Paragraph 4, “…under c condition 3” should be “…… under construction condition 3”.

In this paper the mechanical properties of SMW piles in sandy soil areas have been discussed.
Research topic justified.
Test program correct, but relatively poor.
The amount of research does not allow for more general conclusions.
The conclusions are de facto repeated by the research results.
They are true for the case being examined, but the results are not quantitative but only partially qualitative.
I propose to read other similar studies and expand my conclusions.
