Special Issue Information
Dear colleague,
In recent years, minimally invasive spine surgery (MISS) has received a great deal of attention from both spine surgeons and patients suffering from spinal diseases.
The development of MISS mainly depends on the improvement of the operative instruments and procedures. Among those improvements, various technological and technical improvements to the spinal endoscope have evolved. We have also discovered novel anatomical and pathophysiological findings from the operative field under spinal endoscopy. The obtained novel knowledge on spinal diseases is promising to open up new therapeutic approaches in the field of MISS.
The purpose of this Special Issue entitled “Complex and Minimally Invasive Spine Surgery” is to update knowledge on MISS. Since there are still some technologies and techniques that have not been fully established, we must make efforts to improve them. We hope this Issue will provide a good opportunity to validate such new strategies. We are pleased to invite you and your colleagues to submit all kinds of articles, including original research, meta-analyses, and review articles, providing current trends in MISS.
